For a limited time, Epic Games Store users may take advantage of a free bonus once PUBG: Battlegrounds launches. Since cross-play is supported, Epic Games Store players may match up with friends on Steam and vice versa. According to Krafton, the Epic Games Store version's services are identical to the existing Steam version of PUBG: Battlegrounds, and the game supports cross-play between both storefronts.
The game is available to pre-download in the Epic Games Store starting today, December 5, allowing PC players to prepare for the December 7 launch.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is a first-person battle royale shooter that set the standard for the vastly popular free-to-play battle royale genre. The Epic Games Store version of PUBG: Battlegrounds is nearly identical to the Steam version, so players can expect a seamless experience on launch day.
